Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 3 PM at St Georges Church, Upper Church Street, Douglas, Isle of Man
A service of Remembrance for Organ Donor families and Transplant recipients to be taken by The Venerable Andrew Brown, Archdeacon of Man.
Organ Donation Isle of Man, Transplant Isle of Man and the Organ Donation Committee would like to invite anyone whose lives have been touched by organ donation or transplantation to join us for this very special service.
During the service families are invited to light a candle in memory of their loved one or remembrance of their donor.
After the service light refreshments will be served and its a chance for families to meet and chat and also to meet the committee (medical staff from Nobles, a heart transplant recipient and myself a donor Mum) and ask any questions that maybe they have wanted to but not known who to ask. Sadly this year our Specialist nurse from NHSBT Abi who is on the committee and her colleague Dawn won’t be able to attend due to the travel restrictions.
Lessons will be read by:
The Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney
